Members & roles

Invite people to the workspace, manage their roles and assign them to teams.

Bring your team in thirty seconds. In Settings → Members you see how many people your account has and what each role can do, and you invite by email with the right role. The invitation stays pending and counts as a seat once it's accepted. Watch in the feed →

In Members you manage who has access to the workspace, with what role, and which teams each person belongs to.

Roles

  • Admin: manages members, invitations, integrations, automations and states. Billing belongs to the owner, who pays.
  • Member: works normally in the workspace.
  • Guest: only sees the projects shared with them, not the whole workspace. See Share a project.

In addition, each workspace has an owner (whoever created it), with rights over its lifecycle (rename and delete). Their plan is the one covering the workspace, and only they can subscribe to it or change it.

How to use it

  • Invite: in Settings → Members, enter the email and the role; an invitation link is generated for you to share. The invite is single-use and expires after 7 days.
  • Revoke pending invitations from the same list.
  • Teams: admins distribute members across teams and set their role within each.
  • Whole account: if you’re the owner, a switch shows the people in all your workspaces at once, each of them once, with where they are and whether they take a seat. It’s read-only: changes are made in This workspace.

Details

  • Inviting, listing and revoking is for admins.
  • The number of members is subject to your plan’s limit, which counts the distinct people across all of the owner’s workspaces; see Billing & plans. On Team, each person above the included ones adds a seat to your bill, and the screen tells you what it will cost beforehand.
  • Agents, pending invitations and read-only guests take no seat. A guest starts counting as soon as they have write access to any project.
