Roadmap
Timeline of projects and milestones, with dependencies and drag-to-reschedule.
The Roadmap is a timeline view (a lightweight Gantt) of all the workspace’s projects and their milestones on a time axis.
What it shows
- Project bars positioned by their start and target dates, with the project’s color and icon.
- Milestones as diamonds on their project’s bar, placed by their target date. Milestones with no date park at the start of the bar, ready to place.
- Dependencies between projects, drawn as arrows from the end of one project to the start of the one that depends on it.
How to use it
- Zoom between a month and a quarter view, and a Today button to recenter.
- Group projects by their status or view them ungrouped.
- Drag a bar to reschedule it whole; drag its edges to change just the start or the end. Drag a milestone to change its date.
- Create a milestone from the roadmap itself, and create or delete dependencies between projects with the pickers at the bottom.
Details
- Only projects with at least one date land on the time axis; those with none are listed separately at the bottom so they stay visible.
- Dependencies are only drawn when both projects have a bar on the axis.
