Project report

There are two ways to tell a project, and Hilbana generates both: the invoice (which hours and which tasks, exactly) and the story (what happened and why, written out).

Client report

Hours and tasks for a project over a period, ready to attach to an invoice. Open it from the timesheet by picking a project and a period. It contains:

• Hours per person and hours per task, in decimal hours.
• The tasks completed during the period, with their closing date.
• The detail, entry by entry: date, person, task, note and duration.

It prints (save as PDF from the print dialog) and exports to CSV, which includes the completed tasks too.

It’s deterministic: it comes from logged time, with no interpretation in between. It requires the time tracking module.

The report written by AI

On the project page, Generate report writes up the period (this month or last month) from the tasks, the comments and the time logged.

• It’s written by the AI Hilbana provides: no agent to connect, no key of your own to supply.
• The result is saved as a project document, so it can be edited, shared with the team and read later. See Project docs.
• It’s a narrative text, so someone can understand the project without opening a single task. To bill, use the report above.
