Time tracking
Timer, manual logging and a timesheet by project, person and day. A module you buy separately.
Time tracking records the time spent on each task: with a timer while you work, or written down afterwards. It’s a module bought separately from your plan.
The timer
On a task, the Time property carries Start and Stop:
- There can only be one running timer per person. Starting one while another is running stops the previous one, logs what it had, and tells you how much and on which task.
- While it runs, the time shows in the sidebar — including the collapsed sidebar, so no clock is left running overnight.
- On stop, the stretch is saved as a time entry with its date.
Logging time by hand
Work already done doesn’t need a timer: Add time asks for a duration, a date and an optional note.
Write the duration however it comes out — 90, 1h30, 1:30, 1.5h, 2 h — and
Hilbana understands it. Two rules:
- A single entry can’t exceed 24 hours (more than that is a forgotten timer, not a working day).
- The minimum is 1 minute: if you hit play, you did something.
Editing and deleting
Under the task, Logged time lists the entries with person, duration and note, and lets you edit or delete them — from the timesheet too. You can touch your own; workspace admins can touch anyone’s. Deleting an entry subtracts its duration from the task total, and can’t be undone.
The timesheet
Time in the sidebar holds the workspace timesheet: time spent grouped by project, by person and by day, plus the entry-by-entry detail.
- Period: this week, last week, this month, last month or a custom range.
- Filters by project and by person.
- Every task links back to its page.
Each project page also shows its own Time spent, with a shortcut to the timesheet filtered to that project, and your week appears as My hours this week.
To pass those hours on to a client, see Project report.
Agents log time too
An agent connected over MCP plays by the same rules as a person,
with four tools: start_timer, stop_timer, log_time and list_time_entries. So
agent work shows up on the same timesheet as the team’s.
Buying it
An admin buys it in Settings → Billing → Modules (€8.99/month or €89.90/year). It requires a paid plan, isn’t part of the 14-day trial, and is included on Enterprise.
If it’s cancelled, nothing recorded is deleted: the history stays read-only.
